Support a sustainable feminist movement
Malagasy Women Empowerment (MWE) is an initiative fighting for the improvement of the conditions and representations of Malagasy women through all generations, within Madagascar and diasporas.
MWE was founded in March 2018 and is the result of several years of reflection. Today MWE has more than a hundred volunteers including 20 in France, 150 in Madagascar and a new team of 5 people in Luxembourg.
The associative project of the Luxembourg team promotes the values of benevolence, commitment and solidarity, aims to promote women's entrepreneurship, facilitate the professional integration of women and make women's issues visible in developing countries.
SAVVY VAVY PROGRAM
MWE Luxembourg launched the first session of the Savvy Vavy program following which the beneficiary companies Agro Help, Natiora Mania and Clay Chris Boutique benefited free of charge not only from a communication campaign on MWE Luxembourg's social networks but also from the import of 18 Kgs of goods from Antananarivo to Luxembourg in order to sell and promote them during the Lux African Festival.
All profits made during the event were returned to the beneficiaries.
